Water Music

Presented by Golden Hornet at The Townsend

The first performance of a new commissioned piece for flutist Sarah Jane Hargis, infusing her classical training with an exploration of electronic pedals and effects.

Following the flute piece will be a new concert suite, performed by Reynolds, Jeremy Bruch, and Alexis Ebbets Buffum. Calling on George Frideric Handel’s own Water Music orchestral movements, the piece was developed and adapted from Reynolds’ live score contributions to Forklift Dancework’s recent Bartholomew Swims performances.
