Animal Facts Club Performs the Biodiversity of Texas is an hour long performance taking the audience through 6 different ecosystems of Texas and learning about the animals that call these places home though colorful puppets and costumes.
The Biodiversity of Texas is a one-hour long interactive and educational art and science theatrical performance that uses colorful backdrops, puppets, costumes, audio, and narrative to explore the wildlife and ecology in Texas. The performance takes viewers of all ages on a journey through five Texas ecosystems and briefly goes back in time to see what Austin was like 100 million years ago. The Biodiversity of Texas is a production of Animal Facts Club, a group of artists, scientists, musicians, and writers, led by Austin-based artist Jules Buck Jones. This project is supported in part by the Cultural Arts Division of the City of Austin Economic Development Department.
