OLA Gallery is opening downtown in affiliation with the Office for Local Architecture. This inaugural show is in collaboration with Modern Rocks Gallery featuring photography by Sarah Frankie Linder. Drawing on themes of lights and music in Austin, Sarah Frankie Linder creates atmospheric distortions of local musical performances in her series On the Bright Side.

On the Bright Side features alternate views of musical performances and venues around Austin, creating a fresh, refocused perspective that reflect Linder’s background in commercial and fine art photography. Her work will be on display at OLA Gallery through October 23rd. Afterwards, On the Bright Side will be available within the permanent collection of the Modern Rocks Gallery. This art opening is free and open to the public. OLA Gallery is open Monday through Friday, 9am – 5pm by appointment.

The Office for Local Architecture has been serving the Austin community since 2011.
