Presented by Centroamericanto Fest at Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center.

The 9th Centroamericanto Fest brings the music from Central America to Austin, and it will feature “Ensamble Esperanza”  a music project lead by talented Costarican musicians. You will enjoy the music from Costa Rica, the Yucatan isthmus in Mexico and some of the arabic influences of the music from Spain. Powerful female lead vocals that will evoke the music of Mercedes Sosa, Chavela Vargas and centuries old Sones Huastecos will be just a few of the ingredientes found on this unique ensemble. Join us early at 4PM for our vendor fair with artisans, local businesses and central american food. The concert will start at 7PM but the doors will opent at 6PM.
