KID SIMPLE: a live concert of sounds!

KID SIMPLE: a live concert of sounds!

Presented by artMEAT at Austin American Statesman

KID SIMPLE: a live concert of sounds! is the most rockin’ space-age fantastical podcast you have ever witnessed with your own two ears!!! Join the artGANG as we reinvent the tradition of oral storytelling and blast it into new realms unknown. The sounds are living. The music is live. Treat your ears to this whimsical journey!

KID SIMPLE tells the story of Moll a girl who invents things, and her expansive journey to recover her prize-winning machine that allows one to hear sounds that can not be heard. Accompanied by the last boy-virgin in the eleventh grade, Moll crosses chasms and rafts rivers into a world where sound is always more than what meets the ear. There she hopes to find a shapeshifting Mercenary who stole not only the invention, but her heart as well.
Inspired by Jordan Harrison’s KID SIMPLE, this performance will be the premiere of a two night ONLY event.
