Cultivating the Four Sublime States

Meditation is not perfecting a state of mind, but, rather, a gentle uncovering of our own capacity for love and compassion. In this four week series we will explore Buddhist inspired meditations to awaken our hearts and cultivate the four sublime states: loving kindness, appreciative joy, compassion and equanimity. Each class will include a talk, guided heart meditation with time for quiet sitting and opportunity to reflect and share.

""Meditation becomes a constant inquiry of where there's not love. We're just seeing where we are dividing within ourself, separating. When we heal that, there is only love."" ~ Richard Miller
**Previous experience is not required, however, this can be a wonderful follow on if you have taken the Mindfulness Meditation Series. Both new and experienced practitioners are welcome.
