WOWi is a technological, digital media-based arts education that is launching its first international project in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
Students at the Ponheary Ly Foundation’s Tchey school in Combodia will receive a two-week intensive training on digital media creation, management and story-telling in the Spring of 2012. Simultaneously, student in the Austin area will be learning the same techniques. During the learning process, students from the two different continents will exchange content and stories.
An additional component to this program is the creation of social media as a type of cultural preservation and exchange.
