UTFI and Burnt Orange Productions, LLC

Burnt Orange Productions, LLC, is a for-profit production company that produces low-budget independent feature films. Launched in 2003, Burnt Orange Productions is led by veteran film producer Carolyn Pfeiffer, who most recently served as vice chair, master filmmaker-in-residence and head of the producing discipline at the American Film Institute Conservatory.

Projects will be produced in collaboration with the University of Texas Film Institute (UTFI), a program developed to train students in narrative and digital filmmaking. This unique partnership will produce a slate of independent feature films, providing UT students with the opportunity to work alongside industry professionals on independent feature films while gaining specialized hands-on experience in all aspects of filmmaking that will enhance their existing film education.
