The Star of Texas Fair and Rodeo

The Star of Texas Fair and Rodeo is a 501 (c) 3, non-profit organization. Over 2,200 volunteers, donors and sponsors contribute to the Star of Texas mission of serving the youth of Texas. In 2006, the Star of Texas awarded approximately $272,400 in scholarships to 50 students across Texas. Total youth giving in 2006 was over $1.5 million in the forms of auction proceeds and college scholarships. Over the last 20 years, the Star of Texas Fair and Rodeo has awarded over $20 million to 13,500 students.
