The Texas Military Forces Museum focuses on the history of Texas military forces from 1835 to the present using both inside and outdoor exhibits. The building dates to 1918 and once housed a mess hall for camp troops.

The Texas Military Forces Museum, is the only museum in the nation that presents the history of the Texas Military from the Texas Revolution to the present. Beginning with the Texas War for Independence, the exhibits tell the story of all major conflicts since then.
