The Austin Music Foundation (AMF) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to strengthen and connect the local music industry and community through innovative programs that empower musicians, music industry professionals, and music businesses within Austin’s creative economy. Since 2002, AMF has served over 17,000 musicians and music industry professionals and remains committed to ensuring that Austin’s creative class and music industry thrive.
Austin Music Foundation offers free professional development programs specifically tailored to today’s music business climate. With one-on-one consultations and mentoring, expert panels, and networking events, AMF provides the necessary tools and opportunities to help the Austin music industry succeed. The advisory board consists of highly respected local and national industry professionals, and the organization is supported by the help of volunteer contributors with a wide variety of expertise and professional affiliations.
