Ao5 Gallery is proud to be Austin’s largest contemporary art gallery. Featuring artists from around the world, a vintage film poster collection, premier custom framing department, and home of the Secret Art of Dr. Seuss.

Since opening our doors on West 5th Street in 1998, we have exhibited a diverse collection of work, from Salvador Dali to Andy Warhol. Our new name Ao5 Gallery, is a contemporary update to our identity, reflecting our south Austin style while still paying homage to our 5th Street roots. We always feature multiple vignettes of emerging and established artists. Our original film poster collection is unmatched anywhere else in Texas, and our collection of the Secret Art of Dr. Seuss is the largest in the nation! With over 7,000 square feet to explore, this museum-like space is sure to please art lovers of any age.

We have multiple events per month and the displays in the gallery are constantly rotating. Visit often – there’s always more to see!
