The African American Youth Harvest Foundation is a private 501(c)(3) non-governmental, nonprofit organization. Since its inception 9 years ago, AAYHF has helped at-risk youth with job readiness, in-school alternative suspension in an effort to reduce truancy violations for multicultural student populations, and reintegration into society for juvenile offenders by offering soft skill training and STEM programming. The Austin Creative Alliance is funded in part by the City of Austin through the Economic Development Department's Cultural Arts Division and by grants from Texas Commission on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts which believes that a great nation deserves great art.
