Yin Yoga for Healing with Jenn Wooten & Laura Forsyth YOGA + WORKSHOP
A “Yin” style yoga practice is mindful and deliberate, exploring specific seated and supine poses for several minutes at a time. The practice stimulates and opens the energy meridians of the subtle body and releases constrictions in the connective tissues—the muscle fascia in particular. It has been described as a “needleless acupuncture session” for the body. As a whole, this practice promotes a wider range of motion in the joints and flexibility in the muscle tissues.
