The Baron’s Men presents William Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale, directed by Anneliese Friend. Shows at 8pm every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday in April at the beautiful Curtain Theater.
Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale was originally published in the First Folio of 1623. Although it was grouped among the comedies, many modern editors have relabelled the play as a late romance, or as one of Shakespeare’s “problem plays” — complex in both its drama and comedy.
