Jarrott Productions presents an audio theatre production of “The Speaker Speaks” by Austin playwright Clay Nichols.

Sam Rayburn of Texas served as Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives longer than any person before or since his time. During World War II, Mr. Sam spoke directly to America via public radio, and in this series of episodic audio theatre acts, he will again.

Written by Clay Nichols, “The Speaker Speaks” was adapted and is performed by David R. Jarrott, and produced by Will Douglas, with sound design, mixing and editing by Craig Brock. Act I of “The Speaker Speaks” premieres on March 4th,

Each of the three acts of “The Speaker Speaks” will premiere successive Thursdays at 7:30pm  (March 4th, March 11th, and March 18th). After each act premieres it will be available indefinitely on the Jarrott Productions website.
