The Grain in Spain

Presented by Beerthoven Concert Series at Saengerrunde Hall, Austin TX

May 05 - 07 2023
The Grain in Spain

Featuring Spanish music for violin, cello, and piano, plus free beer, wine, and pastries in an informal setting.

We’re guessing the Grain in Spain grows mainly on the plain so that’s exactly where we’re headed for Beerthoven’s 9th Season Finale!

Featuring pianist Sohee Kwon, violinist Mariama Acântara, and cellist Daniel Kopp, performing piano trios by Enrique Granados and Gaspar Cassadó. Special guest Liliana Guerrero, one of UT’s newest voice faculty members at the Butler School of music, will also be joining to sing Manuel de Falla’s great song cycle Siete Canciones Populares Españolas.
