The Gallery Presents Opening Reception of Erin Carle's "Optical"

Our team has curated an incredible solo exhibition, “Optical” by Erin Carle, to be displayed at Moontower Cider Co.

🖼️ A surrealist painter, Erin Carle was inspired by optical art movement throughout this body of work.

“Optical” addresses themes of inadequacy, consent, conformity, sexism, body standards, and other challenges women face in a world dominated by media and constant social interaction.

This solo exhibition also draws inspiration from Erin’s personal experiences as a ballerina and model, two of the most physique-centric industries for women. 🩰
