The Art of a Vintage Ride: Gallery Opening

Join Texas Folklife at the Texas Folklife Gallery as we celebrate the opening of Exhibit: The Art of Vintage Cars. Tim Higgins will be in attendance to speak about his experiences and creating the exhibit. Refreshments and great company will be provided.

Tim Higgins always had a fascination with cars of the fifties and sixties and those of the decades before. Photographing vintage cars rekindled his fascination with the spirit of a past era and their beauty. The photos in this exhibit were taken over a period of seven years at the Lone Star Round Up and The Austin Speed Shop.
