About The Arc of the Capital Area
The Arc of the Capital Area is committed to empowering Central Texans with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families through compassionate case management and innovative programs. The umbrella term “intellectual and developmental disabilities” refers to disabilities that impact intellectual and adaptive functioning, including Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and more than 100 other diagnoses. The Arc of the Capital Area is closing vital service gaps by connecting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to education, work, recreation, and lifelong services.
