Tetractys Presents: Transient Canvas in Concert

The Tetractys New Music Concert Series presents Boston-based new music bass clarinet and marimba duo Transient Canvas in concert. Their program entitled Origami, presents a concert inspired by Marti Epstein’s delicately intricate music that invites the audience to forge personal connections with abstract art. Each of the pieces on this program is like a distinct sculpture folded from the unique thoughts and experiences of an eclectic group of living composers, with inspiration ranging from visual art and poetry to scientific phenomena and living with a terminal illness. Featuring music by Marti Epstein, Emily Koh, Jonathan Bailey Holland, Crystal Pascucci, Keith Kirchoff, Nicholas Denton-Protsack, Clifton Ingram, and a world premiere by Tetractys Co-Director, Chris Prosser.
