Tetractys Presents: RighteousGIRLS in Concert

RighteousGIRLS continue to expand their creative reach by bringing 21st century music to new audiences and commissioning works that root themselves in classical idioms but draw from other genres.

Program:

RighteousGIRLS will explore beyond the acoustic medium, expanding their sonic world with an improvised set re-imagining composer/steel pannist Andy Akiho’s “21,” (originally scored for steel-pan, cello, and percussion) expanding on Akiho’s musical language of numbers and time, alongside newly commissioned works for the duo. The program will culminate in Akiho’s original composition “21” arranged by RighteousGIRLS.
