Sonora Festival is a celebration of women in music, art, and community, and now happens in over 70 cities around the world. SONORA Austin is the first chapter to happen in the United States. Our line up includes an amazing and unique variety of women songwriters and composers at all stages of their creative careers. The selected musicians traverse all genres, ethnicities, and races.
The night will include a Songwriter Showcase from 6-8pm where anyone who submitted their music to our open-submission can perform 1-3 original songs in front of an audience. From 9-10pm we will have a panel including four established women musicians to share songs and discuss a wide array of topics concerning their experience in the music industry. Alesia Lani is the headliner and the night will close out with DJ Ella Ella and her fun dance beats.

The event is for all ages from 4-9pm and 18+ from 9pm-1am. This is a suggested donation event, encouraging anywhere from $5 to $25. We can’t wait to see you at SONORA Festival 2018!
