Sky Candy Presents: Choose Adventure Featuring p1nkstar!

Join us for an exciting first show back in the studio, featuring both live and video performances! We’re experimenting with a blended format for our first show back in the studio. We’ll be hosting two video aerial showcases: a student showcase and a staff show. And in between the two, we’ll be joined by Austin’s Queer Pop Princess, P1nkstar, for the first live performance our studio has seen since February 2020.

You can attend in-person at our Springdale General studio or online from wherever!
The in-person event is indoors and will be mask optional with limited capacity and standard show seating. There will be plenty of standing room availability as well. Free refreshments will be provided by Zhi Tea and Dulce Vida Tequila.

Choose Your Own Adventure Student Showcase:
Cheer on our students as they show off what they’ve learned (or relearned) in their video creations in our student showcase! Join us as we see which adventures they choose after a real rollercoaster of a year.

Live Performance from P1nkstar:
Enjoy a live musical performance from “ur fav electr0nic pop superstar!!”, p1nkstar! Merging hyperpop with neo-perreo and club, she has been described as “early Aughts Paris Hilton on Hello Kitty steroids” by The Austin Chronicle. In her live performances, P1nkstar affectionately delivers pure pop performance, mixing witty vocals with electronic beats and video interludes with choreographed numbers and back-up dancers.

We let you, the Sky Candy community, pick the aerial apparatus, costume inspiration, and song for eight brave Sky Candy staffers. Come see them serve their best video vixen lewks and hooks to more of P1nkstar’s fabulous catalog.
