Sehr Flash: Fiction Becomes Music (from “sehr Rasch,” a German tempo marking for very fast music) presented by NANO Fiction
This summer local literary journal, NANO Fiction, paired flash writers, Callie Collins, Kelly Luce, Michael McGriff, Vincent Scarpa, Jessica Richardson, and Matthew Salesses with classical music composers Russell Podgorsek and Hermes Camacho to create original new works that blended the two story telling forms.
The resulting stories and sheet music will be published in this fall’s issue of NANO Fiction (pick up your copy at nanofiction.org), but for those of you in the area, we’re presenting two live performances of the readings with musical performances by The Cordova Quartet!
The event is free and open to the public. See you there.
Additional sponsorship provided by New Music USA. Please visit nanofiction.org/events for more info.
