Rough Cut Screening of Cowboys: A Documentary Portrait

Told in the cinematic tradition of classic westerns, this feature-length documentary offers the opportunity to ride alongside modern working cowboys on some of America’s largest and most remote cattle ranches. Cowboys documents the lives of the men and women working on “big outfit” cattle ranches – some of which are over one million acres – and still require a crew of horseback workers to tend large herds of cattle.

Come watch the full movie cut into a very solid rough that we are screening for critical review. After the screening, we’re asking attendees to take a short anonymous survey so we can incorporate comments into the final cut before our initial film festival submissions this fall. Our intention is to have a diverse group of folks who will give honest feedback on several levels for the betterment of the film.

You’ll be able to get a very clear sense of the final project long before it’s released early next year.
