River City Pops Presents: 'Tis the Season!

Join River City Pops, Austin’s premier show choir performance ensemble, in a new and fantastic holiday tradition. ‘Tis The Season is a fun and festive collection of your favorite holiday tunes, showcased through River City Pops’ exciting vocals, sparkling choreography, and hilarious takes on the best and worst of the holiday season. With thirty voices performing everything from Carol of the Bells to the best of Christmas pop and a live band onstage, this show is the perfect holiday respite from the chaos of the season. In an effort to return some of the joy we derive from performing back to the community, we will be accepting donations of winter coats and accessories for the students of Widen Elementary School. 94.9% of students at Widen Elementary receive free and reduced lunch, with 87.1% receiving a free lunch. Widen Elementary is supported by the strong community around them but is still in need of help obtaining winter gear of all kinds to keep our little ones warm as we head into the coldest months of the year. Many of the students at Widen Elementary walk to school and new hats, scarves, gloves, socks, and new or gently used coats will make a big difference in the lives of these students. Widen Elementary has a special place in the hearts of RCP – one of our performers, Megan Cristwell, is the school counselor. We hope that this coat drive can make a direct impact on the Widen Elementary community.
