Request for Qualifications: Austin Fire Department Artist-in-Residence

Deadline: March 3, 5 pm

The City seeks to commission an artist-in-residence who will document the people and operations of six fire stations currently undergoing renovations. They will spend approximately 10-15 hours per week observing the activities of the fire stations over a 2-3 month period. At the end of the residency period, the artist will submit a proposal to create a series of 2-dimensional works to be sited on the interior or exterior walls of the fire stations.
