Join us on Saturday, November 16, 1-3 pm to celebrate a beautiful exhibit with artist Sylvia Benitez. Come enjoy drinks and light refreshments.

During the 2019 Gallery Season, the Dougherty Arts Center has had the honor of hosting several exhibitions by talented and established women artists. Sylvia Benitez is no exception! Join us for the last Artist Reception of the year, cheers with a drink and celebrate a beautiful exhibit reflecting the Texas landscape.

Sylvia Benitez is a nationally awarded artist and founder of GAGA, a nonprofit that serves South Texas women artists. Her new body of work will be on display at the Dougherty Arts

There will be an Opening Reception on Saturday, November 16, 1-3 pm. Adult beverages, iced tea, and snacks will be served.

Artist Talk: Wednesday, December 11 at 7  pm. Hear more from Sylvia about working from a trained memory to create beautiful Texas landscape paintings.
