Professional art academy Atelier Dojo teen summer camps

The Summer Teen Intensive Classes are designed to offer a sampling of the Dojo’s yearly courses in drawing and oil painting, specifically tailored to teens. Students should come prepared to learn, grow and have fun. The Atelier Dojo Teen Intensive Classes run June 3 – 7, July 15 – 19 and July 29 – Aug. 2, 2019 at the Dojo studio at Canopy and will include drawing and painting. Seats are limited. 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Self Portrait Drawing. Faculty, Justin Balleza

Making Self Portraits will help students tackle the challenges of working from life by giving them the freedom to explore many different aspects of portraiture and drawing without the constraints of working with a model.

1 – 4 p.m. Painting Fundamentals. Faculty, Felice House

A hands-on approach to learning foundational painting skills in both oil and acrylic paint.
