Opening Reception for Jack Sanders’ Art Installation “Construction Event” for Drawing Lines

Join artist and designer Jack Sanders along with Drawing Lines for an opening reception for the scaffolding sphere installation Construction Event!

As a part of the Drawing Lines public art project, which pairs an artist with each one of the city’s newly drawn City Council districts to create a place-specific work, Jack Sanders’ installation, “Construction Event,” explores the contrast between the frenzied building and development pace within District 9 and the area’s many natural amenities and older historic neighborhoods and institutions. The public can visit the free art installation daily on the grounds of the Elisabet Ney Museum (304 E. 44th Street) until November 15.
