On the 20th Century

Guest composers Anthony Iannaccone and David Whitwell will join the ACO for an exciting performance of 20th century music at Southwestern University’s Alma Thomas Theater in Georgetown. 

Dr. Iannoccone’s composition From Time to Time, Fantasias on Two Appalachian Folksongs will be performed. And Dr. Whitwell will conduct the world premiere of his Symphony of Songs. 

Also on the first half of the concert will be the Polka and Waltz from the opera The Good Soldier Schweik, by 20th century
