An ongoing community performance project centered around legislation that affects the homeless. Audience participation is encouraged.
Gathering Ground Theatre presents “No Sit/No Lie.” This will be an experimental community theatre performance that includes members of the homeless community as well as those who are housed.
As part of an ongoing project to give prominence to the voices of those who are affected by homelessness, this show specifically addresses a piece of legislation that is enforced in Austin making it illegal to sit or like down in the majority of the downtown area.
