Metamorphosis Dance Presents The Nutcracker

In our story, Clara’s aunt arrives in grand fashion during a holiday party. A world traveler who enjoys exploring other countries and cultures, the Aunt dazzles Clara with her tales of adventure. She travels with her Assistant who immediately catches Clara’s eye. Clara’s Father disapproves of her growing attraction towards the Assistant and her desire to travel the world with him. Clara will have to choose between love and family as this story unfolds beautifully to Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s traditional Nutcracker Suite. The artists will be performing the ballet at the Boyd Vance Theater inside the Carver Washington Cultural Center on November 18-20.
