Filmmaker, Karen Skloss, will preview clips from her forthcoming film, SOUTH OF MARFA , at Ruiz Public Library as part of an interactive workshop with Club Latinitas about the power of media as an agent of social change.
Karen Skloss will be visiting a Club Latinitas campus to do a filmmaking workshop with girls about making media for social change. She will preview clips from her forthcoming film, SOUTH OF MARFA, a film set on the Texas/Mexico border. The product of this workshop with be screened at the Ruiz Public Library from 6 to 7 pm, with a discussion to follow. This event is free and open to the public.
