The full 10th season lineup will be announced soon but there will be five programs total in September, November, December, February, and April. Each program takes place over the course of a weekend with performances Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
With the exception of December, performances Fridays and Sundays typically take place at Saengerrunde Hall, 1607 San Jacinto Blvd. Austin, TX 78701. Saturday’s performance locations vary program to program in intimate venues around the Austin Metro and will include the Neill-Cochran House and other public and private venues.
The Beerthoven volunteer crew is a critical ingredient in our concerts, allowing us to continue to provide high quality classical music at an affordable price. Being a part of our crew means that you will be helping new audiences enjoy great chamber music in a uniquely approachable format.
Beerthoven volunteers provide the hospitality and serve the refreshments that set the stage for our wonderful musicians. Whether it is moving chairs or greeting guests at the door, you’ll enjoy being part of the Beerthoven exbeerience.

About Beerthoven:
The critically-acclaimed Beerthoven Concert Series is a down-to-earth, approachable celebration of classical song, chamber music, and beer; a quirky mixture of Bach and Doppelbock in unique and intimate settings. Beerthoven finds its inspiration in the musical and festive events at the Austin Saengerrunde as well as the private “salon” concerts of Beethoven’s own time. All Beerthoven events feature live classical music, free beer, and other refreshments and snacks. There is no backstage area here; audience members may even find themselves standing in line for beer with the performers. Beerthoven especially celebrates classical song and chamber music (for small ensembles of two or more). Programming is intentionally diverse in tone, instrumentation, and featured performers. Beerthoven supports local artists by offering fair compensation and a unique performance venue. See www.beerthoven.com for more info.
