The Austin Troubadours is a group of instrumentalists and singers whose mission is to revive the beauty of musical masterpieces from Medieval and Renaissance Europe. Founded in 2009 in Austin, by the early music specialist Slobodan Vujisic, with 30 period instruments, in authentic period costumes, we perform secular and sacred dances and songs of the 12th-16th century Europe. A high energy, non-conventional show guided by the principals of “historically informed performance”. Members from the Austin Symphony, University of Texas Faculty and Austin Baroque Orchestra, funded in part by the City of Austin CAD, included in Texas Commission on the Arts Touring Roster. Fun and engaging program designed to both entertain and educate Austin residents and visitors.
