Honoring Ancestral Presence invites community to engage in a multidisciplinary event with poetry, film, visual art, and music and dialogue on honoring ancestral presence in our lives.

Honoring Ancestral Presence is an offering for community to tune-in and experience the different approaches artists take to explore the presence of ancestors through life histories and moments of inspiration and obsession, through tenacity and perseverance as they create vision and invite YOU to feel through their unique respective works.

Themes of the night include:

– Reclaiming roots
– Undoing unconcious assimilation
