Glorium were an enigmatic rock band formed in 1991 in San Antonio, Texas by George Lara (Eddie & The Valiants), Lino Max, Juan Ramos (Sexto Sol, The Please Help), Ernest Salaz (I Love You But I’ve Chosen Darkness, High Heavens), and Paul J. Streckfus (KOSL, Kingdom Of Suicide Lovers, The Et Ceteras).
In their first six years as a group, Glorium recorded numerous full-length albums, singles, cassettes, and compilations released on various labels: EV, Undone, Unclean, Rise and their own imprint Golden Hour Records. They toured the States for years beginning in 1993, and in 1996 did a southern tour with Washington, DC’s Fugazi and Branch Manager.
Since then, although at times band members were living in different states, Glorium would still regroup and perform intermittently between 2000 and 2016. Currently all members are living between Austin and San Antonio and are excited to be collaborating once again.
