Gender Unbound Virstual Showcase

Throughout September, Gender Unbound will host a Virtual Showcase on the theme of “Home.” The showcase will consist of an interactive 3D exhibition hosted on Gender Unbound’s website featuring commissioned work by trans and intersex artists.

The exhibition will be paired with weekly live streams of trans and intersex musicians, poets, storytellers, and interviews with exhibited artists. All programming will be free to the public to view. Live streams will be hosted on Facebook Live, Youtube, and at www.genderunbound.org/live. Information about the featured artists can also be found on Gender Unbound’s website.

– HOME IN OUR COMMUNITY: Saturday, Sept. 5, 4-5 PM Central, featuring the poetry of G.E Loveless, music of Lazarus Letcher, a video by Trans*Visible, and an artist interview with stained glass artist, Rev. M Barclay. Invite and share on Facebook.

– LEAVING HOME: Saturday, Sept. 19, 4-5 PM Central, featuring the music of 50’♀, a short film by Koomah, and an artist interview with photographer, Mari Wrobi. Invite and share on Facebook.
– CREATING HOME: Saturday, Sept. 26, 4-5 PM Central, featuring the music of Sci-Fi, the poetry of KB, and an artist interview with painter, Khaleel. Invite and share on Facebook.

We are unable to provide simultaneous captioning during the live streams. However, captioned recordings of each live stream will be posted as soon as possible after the event.
