On our stage, enjoy the renowned poetry of Alok Vaid-Menon, Davy LeJones, Dee Dee Watters, and Siri Gurudev to name a few. Move to amazing music from artists like Krudas Cubensi, Emma Ruth and Strange Angels, Girlfriend ATX, Q the Sound, and Lazarus Letcher. In our visual art gallery, witness the thought provoking activist work of Koomah, striking abstract work by Charlie Blake and Angyl Dreams, gorgeous portraits by Drew Riley and Catherine Graffam, and dramatic sculpture by Rachel Stevens, and so much more. Art, Entertainment, Advocacy, and Education.
While this event is for art and entertainment, it is also a community event for healing and celebration through creative expression. We also connect attendees to resources that are vital to the health (physical, mental, and emotional) of trans and intersex communities. In addition, the night offers a rare opportunity for the general public to learn about sex and gender minorities in a context outside of celebrity coming out stories and bathroom legislation. We want people to see that trans and intersex people are talented, complex human beings, not impersonal stereotypes. We encourage the general public to come ready to absorb, learn, and enjoy.
