Frank Reaugh's Life and Work

Frank Reaugh was the most improbable of artists, a European-trained Impressionist whose body of work was devoted to Longhorn cattle and the West Texas landscape. With a life bookended by the American Civil War and World War II, he witnessed America’s dramatic transformation from a rural society to an urban-centered powerhouse.
