Finders Keepers Workshops

Artist, Teel Montague, creates a positive, affirming, innovative and safe space to work individually and in small groups to explore storytelling through songwriting. Join evening public workshops at Imagine Art. Teel opens up discussion, performing an original song and sharing the story behind it. A playful blues-based exercise follows, constructing collaborative story in song. Then explore your specific interest and experience, matching instrumentation with the mood and story you would like to tell. Teel works closely with participants to “sculpt” lyrics, rhythm and melody, creating distinctive songs.
