Faculty and Guest Artist Dance Concert

The Austin Community College Dance Department is excited to bring back their Faculty Showcase as part of the department’s season. The program includes works by Ellen Bartel, Darla Johnson and Nicole Wesley, Sharon Marroquin, Sunny Jun Shen, Catherine Solaas, and Melissa Watt, performed by advanced students and seasoned professionals. The dances explore multiple issues that our society is facing today including identity and empowerment, family dynamics, loss and the human spirit and community relationships. Our work is shown though dancing and text, musical accompaniment and video. Come hear about our dance program and exciting future plans for the dance department, refreshments will be provided and all proceeds support the ACC dance department.
