The fifth and final concert in La Follia’s all-Bach concert season features the incomparable Anton Nel performing on harpsichord.
Featured works with Mr. Nel are the Triple Concerto in A minor and the Harpsichord Concerto in E major. Stephen Redfield, concertmaster, will perform the Violin Concerto in A minor. Marcus McGuff, Baroque flute, and Mr. Redfield will join Mr. Nel on the Triple Concerto. All works are accompanied by the La Follia string ensemble.
Chris Johnson from KMFA Classical 89.5 will host the event. He will introduce each piece and comment on its significance.
