City Infrastructure Discussion Forum

Presented by Austin School of Film at Motion Media Arts Center, Austin TX

May 10 2019
City Infrastructure Discussion Forum

A long-term project chronicling the ways that Austin was built and how that has affected its populace is conducting a series of research discussions. Free snacks.

This project deals with the ways the city was made — the laying of the sidewalks, the construction of the moontowers, the installation of utilities – and how these all have shaped the landscape, both literally and figuratively. We are interested in personal stories, accounts of the institutional racism involved, academic research, and anything involving murders. We will have free food and nonalcoholic beverages for all attendees.

This event will take place from 5 – 6:30 pm on Friday, May 10
