Captivating Not Captive / New Monuments for New Cities

Presented by Denise Prince at Specht Architects, Austin TX

Apr 01 - 30
Captivating Not Captive / New Monuments for New Cities

Large scale advertising-referencing public art displayed on a billboard structure on the street behind Lammes Candies.

In conjunction with her poster in the public art exhibit, New Monuments for New Cities, Denise Prince will raise a second image  from the same advertising referencing, Captivating Not Captive series on a billboard to expand the conversation. Up for the month of April right behind Lammes Candies. What could be sweeter? Free public art with a message: if beauty is exclusive and subject to rules then freedom is obscured by limits and obstacles.
