In 2016, the hottest year on record, our planet experienced an unprecedented number of extreme weather events. This iteration of SoundSpace explores the various ways artists engage and respond to the natural world, including the use of field recordings, processed bat calls, plant amplification, seismograph readings, and translating climate data into sound.
