Light works from the Great American Songbook and German Caberet will counterbalance powerful classics including Beethoven’s Sonata in G Minor for Cello and Piano, songs by Rachmaninoff, and free beer.
In 2009, cellist Joel Becktell and pianist Carla McElhaney formed REVEL – a multi-configuration classical band – to return the classical music experience to its radical roots; a place where musicians and their friends got together in intimate settings to let their hair down and revel in great music. The folks in Revel are no strangers to combining classics and beer–but this time the beer, wine, and hors d’ouvres are free!
