Beat the Rush: Blanton Museum of Art

Come experience Austin Camerata’s premiere of the new string quartet, Three Interventions, written by composer Michael Alec Rose. This work, based on three works of art housed in the Blanton Museum, combines the visual medium of art with the sound medium of music. By creating a literal “Pictures at an Exhibition” experience, complete with promenade music as the audience moves through the galleries, we hope to engage music and art lovers alike to follow along with us and draw connections between the mediums.
